Lizzie Ingham was the W21E winner of the Super series sprint held on the Vic Uni campus with Tineke Bethelsen 16sec behind. Ross Morrison was over a minute and a half clear of Bryn Davies and Carsten Jorgensen in the men's race.
The terrain could be called "old-city" with buildings of various shapes, gaps and overhangs, apparent gaps with barriers, steps and stairs, and little bits of "real" forest in the form of an old graveyard. The steep site brought contours into it as well.
Mick Finn was the best of "the others", in fact he headed off Bill Edwards who had placed second in the morning's sprint. A surprise entry was former World Champion Yvette Baker who has lost none of her old skill - though expecting her third baby she would have placed 4th in the womens class.
