Barry Sheene lost his brave fight with cancer approx 2pm Qld. Australia time on Monday March 10th 2003. Bazza was undoubtedlly the hardest man ever to slip into a set of G.P. Racing leathers. World 500 G.P. Champion in 1976 and 1977. Also F.I.M. Formula 750 Champ in 1973.
