We have begun to learn our times tables this term. We started with the twos, fives and then the tens. We will continue to revise these for quick recall, before learning our other times tables. We have a great resource to learn these. Each lesson begins with listening to recorded music, to which we can move and chant the times tables. This makes learning fun - as you can see.

Room 5 presented the fish they had constructed as part of their art unit on paper construction at the school’s assembly. Each fish is an original. Students selected a fish on which to model their art. Firstly they drew the outline and cut it out. Next they stapled the edges and stuffed the fish to make it three-dimensional. They selected a variety of coloured paper sheets to apply as individual scales. This gave the fish true texture and the final embelishments enabled each student to put their own “signature” on their artwork.
